Hundreds of the world’s best skydivers congregate in Chicago to attempt to break the existing record of 200 for the largest skydiving formation. Utilizing 12 aircraft flying in formation and a supplemental oxygen system, the jumpers make 23 exhausting attempts to break the record. After trimming the group’s size down to 246, and coming ever so close on previous jumps, they finally make the record on the 24th attempt and hold it for over 7 seconds for a new world record.
