Magic sunset flight in a ‘glass off’ - when the valleys give up the warm air they’ve been holding on to. Perfect soaring conditions in the resulting widespread smooth lift, flying no longer limited to ridges or inside thermals. Hills lit up by the setting sun, its rays scattered by the evening haze making the air glow. Gliders silently carving circles in the buoyant air, taking in the breathtaking views. This is why we fly! Utter bliss!
