The small adventure town of East Burke, Vermont is home to one of the best paragliding locations in New England. The north face of Burke Mountain allows gliders to catch thermals rising off the valley. Once off the ground, pilots can stay in the air for hours without a motor. Paragliding in New England presents many challenges, but rewards advanced pilots with incredible views right below the clouds.
