Around 11 hours in the car from Tokyo there is a crag very popular amongst Japanese Climbers, at Hayama, 羽山渓 (thanks Ian) where our favourite Japanes clmber Sakae Nakahara meets an overhanging beast of a 9a, that has caused many climbers problems over the years...
