Extreme Alpine Highline
Lucas Irmler: Climbing rock towers and filling the void between them. We set out to connect the Grand Capucin with the Chlocher du Tacul. We did not succeed - again... but we did get a chance to repeat an amazing Highline between the Trident & Chandele, just beneath our original dream Line. This stunning and complex Highline was first done by Bernhard Witz @lostarrowspire & Faith Dickey @thefaithdickey with the support of a great team. It involves climbing two distinctive granite spires, which tower over 200m above the glacier at an height over 3000m. The climbing is 6b or harder on both sides and therefore challenges the aspirant already before one can think about setting up a Line between those features.
