Canyoning in Tirol - Schwarzenaugraben, Achensee

Very alpine canyon on the east coast of the Achensee with beautiful and high abseils, and a fair amount of downclimbing.

From the parking spot cross the river (check the water level) and take the hiking path up in the direction Kothalm. Follow the path until you hit the gravel road. Follow this uphill briefly until just after the U-bend. Make your way up through the clearing to the wire fence, and follow this uphill until you see a quite well-defined path leading you towards the river.
