PERU. RIO URUBAMBA. Deep in the Sacred Valley, in the shadow of Machu Picchu lies endless class 5 whitewater. This video is of the Chilca section of the Urubamba river, 5km of continuous class 5 whitewater with only the odd small eddy to catch your breath. There is only 1 opportunity to get out and scout the biggest 5+ rapid with the rest being read and run and following someone that knows the lines. This is definitely the pushiest whitewater I have paddled! Enjoy the video
