Scuba Diving Kilsby Sinkhole 2018 - Australian Cave Diving

20. 8. 2019

This compliation of footage shot on GoPro features a dive at Kilsby Sinkhole with Rob Main from Reef2Ridge (www.reef2ridge.com) during my most recent trip to Mt Gambier, South Australia. It also happened to be the 1000th dive for our friend Martin Rohner.

Kilsby Sinkhole, located 10 minutes from Mt Gambier, is a natural wonder. Its one of my favourite dive sites, with crystal clear freshwater, and a unique experience when the sun is shining and the light rays refract through the water creating an amazing laserlight like show.

Kilsbys Hole (or "Kilsby Cave/Sinkhole" - official CEGSA Inc. cave number 5L46) was one of the first sinkholes to be dived in Mount Gambier, with activities commencing in the late 1950s.
