St Anthony Wreck Dive - Maui, Hawaii

30. 4. 2021

Just shy of 1/2 a mile off the Kihei shore lies the wreck of the fishing troller St. Anthony. Intentionally sunk in 1997 the ship lies 70 feet below the surface and forms an artificial reef along with cement blocks, car parts, and tires. Since it's sinking, an abundance of sea life has taken up residency on and around the boat. Two frog fish frequently hang out on the deck, nicknamed “The Captain” and “Little Buddy”. The 60-70 ft depth lets in only a little light from above and lends a dark eerie feel to the deep water dive. This 6 min HD video with music highlights today's dive. Check out Lloyd trying to drive back to shore near the end...
