Wavegarden coming to South Korea in 2020

Development has begun on the world’s largest man-made surf park in Turtle Island in Siheung in the Gyeonggi province of South Korea. Scheduled to open in 2020, the centerpiece will be a Wavegarden Cove surfing lagoon, which is capable of producing up to 1000 ocean-like waves per hour that unfurl across a range of different surfing areas. Located just one hour from Seoul, Turtle Island is a new international waterfront destination, which will have different water and landside leisure facilities and activities.
